Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。藤宫周所住公寓的隔壁，住着学校第一的美少女椎名真昼。两人原本并没有什么瓜葛。有一天，周看到她淋在雨中，把伞借给了她。此后，两人开始了不可思议的交流。 真昼看不下去周自甘堕落的独居生活，帮忙做饭、打扫房间，在各个方面都照顾着周。 真昼渴望家庭间的关系，逐渐敞开心扉开始撒娇，而周却不能完全带着自信接受她的好意。两人尽管不坦率，但还是一点一点缩短着距离……。许多和杜鹃，是一对从小在乡下长大的青梅竹马。因为杜鹃随父母远去上海，两个小伙伴相约在树下埋下各自心愿，20年后再见。而两个人的人生，却因为这两个心愿变得大不相同。 杜鹃离去的那一刻，许多从小相依为命的奶奶不幸离世，许多从此孤苦无依，又连走衰运，上厕所找不到纸还是小事，吃饭买单找不到钱包也时常发生，他去过的大厦，自习室，商场都会因为他的到来莫名停电，就算乖乖宅在家里哪儿都不去，也会被电脑触电。公共交通更不用说，坐上公交就会出车祸，坐上出租车，汽车就启动不起来。但是即使这样他仍然努力地活着，作为建筑设计师，一直努力做设计将设计投稿，却回回没有下落。而世界另一个角落的杜鹃却一路好运连连，上名校，进入世界百强公司，平步青云做到设计总监，刮彩票回回中奖，年中奖次次不落，家中的中奖得来的礼品堆积成山。许多的衰，让他身边没有一个朋友，老板也视他为蝼蚁，给他下了最后通牒，如果拿不下客户就让他走人。衰神上身的许多没有拿下客户，却在当晚因为误打误撞吻了杜鹃，两个人并未认出对方，并在吻的那一刻交换了运气。。
